Views of northeastern San Francisco from the
glass elevator at the Westin St. Francis (you can see Coit Tower in the distance in the top photograph). The view is from 32 stories up - quite magnificent! The elevator is no longer open to the public, but the the smooth and fast speed was a little terrifying, especially as I took the last photographs on the way down - there was actually a moment when I didn't think we were going to stop and were going to crash to the ground!
