{looking back} film film film

Sometimes I think I was better at photography before I became a "professional" and knew what the heck I was doing.

The first two photographs are from my very first rolls when I got my very first camera (circa 2001-2002). The last is from the first roll I took on real black & white film and developed and printed by myself in the darkroom (2005)!

All were taken on the automatic setting on my SLR, before I learned to control the aperture and shutter.

That relaxing and pleasant it is to watch your photo, the reflection in the glass...

You might just be thinking too much now when you're shooting. Go back to the thoughtless, instinctive shooting you've probably done back then, and you'll see that your photography is just as good!
